March is a very windy month here in the midwest. With that in mind, I designed this Wind Tricks poetry packet, to go along with my other wind-themed activities.  I hope you find it helpful.

60 pages!

This packet is extremely versatile.  You can do these as a whole group activity, as an independent center, for a bulletin board, for a class-made book (each student contributes a letter) or have each child do all of the letter booklets and keep them in a "portfolio" file folder.

Practice 2D, as well as 3D shapes, with these two "Shaping Up With Seuss" & "Flipping Over Shapes" emergent reader flip booklets.

This little booklet packs in quite a few standards.  Students trace and write the numbers and number words; they read the simple sentences and add end punctuation, then color the pictures in the group/set. Review adding one more to complete the next grouping as students count from 1 to 10.

This packet is chock full of activities to go along with Jan Brett's story, The Mitten.

Reinforce lots of Common Core State Standards with this sweet easy-reader that incorporates the 5 senses.  Students read, trace, write, add end punctuation, underline the adjectives and color the pictures.
