This is a great activity to follow up the reading of Jan Brett's The Mitten.  Students decide what is hiding inside their mitten and complete the writing prompt by finishing the sentence.

• Children also illustrate their page by drawing something inside their mitten and then coloring the outside and cuff. 
• Add a student's photo inside the button for that finishing touch!
• Also includes a graphing extension.
