Doing countdown activities, help little ones wrap their heads around the concept of time.  They're also a quick, easy and fun way to practice numbers, as well as counting backwards.  

The packet also includes a traceable calendar page for December, with a blank template if you want students to write in their own numbers.

Have your students color the elf's "stockings" in an ABAB pattern to reinforce patterning.  Tracing and writing the numbers as they countdown to Christmas, is a fun way to practice.
