A quick and easy way to help your students learn about seasons as well as the months of the year.

Children trace and write the season word. They also color the puffy word in an ABAB pattern, using appropriate colors for that season. i.e. The colors of fall could be red, orange, yellow and brown.

As a writing extension, students think of something they like to do during that season. They underline the capital letters and add end punctuation as well.

There are more opportunities for writing on the last page.  Students tell which season is their favorite and why, as well as what month they were born in.
