A fun way to review colors as well as practice writing, reading, and scissor skills.

Students COLOR the heart the appropriate color that the sentence is talking about. They TRACE the sentence, WRITE it, and then finally find the matching candy heart picture, and CUT and GLUE it to the square. There is also an opportunity for a math graphing extension as well. When everyone is done, read the booklet aloud as a whole group to review concepts of print. Students will enjoy taking this "easy reader" home and sharing it with their families.
