I made these little treat bags for my 2nd graders during a week when they would be tested on their writing skills. I put them inside their desks with a brand new pencil complete with a laminated pencil topper that I made. (I have a pencil topper master in every unit as my 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders all loved them!) I figured if it got them to enjoy holding a pencil, maybe they would write more! :-)

This is just a fun idea. I'm sure you can think of other things to tuck in, that suit you and your students.
