Common Core Assessment tool for RF.K1d and L.1.1a12 months of lowercase letter tracing fun.

Run them off and use them as a themed monthly assessment tool for CCSS RI.K1d for kindergarten and L.1.1a for first grade, for the lowercase letters. Have students trace the letter you call out.  If they trace the wrong one, you circle it. Total the number wrong at the top and date it!

Children trace one themed page each month for a wonderful keepsake at the end of the school year.  

I let my students use a highlighter for added fun.
Use in lieu of a portfolio to show improvement!
Have children add a bit of color with crayons and write their name on the bottom as well, and you show even more progress and improvement!
A nice fill-in for when you're busy assessing or need a quick lesson for a substitute.
