Alphabet Activities


12 pages. Common Core State Standard: RF:K1d, RF:K3c, L.1.1a A little bit of this and that to help you teach the alphabet, featuring the adorable clip art of Laura Strickland.  This packet will be FREE for an entire year! 18 pages. Common Core State Standard RI.K1d and L.1.1a You can make an alphabet booklet, flashcards, and Memory Match Concentration games, using these templates. There are also puzzle cards that can be used as such or in several other games.

11 pages. A wonderful way to help your students practice their alphabet skills. Children trace the upper and lowercase letters, find a word that begins with that letter as they become ABCDe-tectives.
7 pages. This is a simple and fun snack to make to accompany the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and includes some Alpha-bits cereal sorting and graphing activities.

8 pages. Common Core State Standard RF:K1d and L.1.1a These butterfly puzzles are a different way to assess students as well as a fun way for them to practice one-to-one correspondence and matching upper and lowercase numbers with each other.

2 pages. If your students are having a problem learning the various lists, try breaking them down by their phonetic sounds. I have had really good success teaching the lists phonetically.
