(61-contractions are included) Children can also pick several cards and then write either the contraction or the words, depending on which cards they choose. Valentine Vocabulary

Here's a list of 240 words associated with love and Valentine's Day. Challenge students to come up with their own list, and then share mine. As a whole group, highlight any words that students do not know, then give some to each student to look up and then share their findings.

Students can also record their list, as well as any new words in their Valentine Vocabulary Word Book.

Award a sticker to the first one done, or the one who has the most words found when the timer rings. Includes an answer key + links to more valentine word fun, including crossword puzzles.
