Chugging Our Way To 100 Day

12 pages.

If you're looking for a fun way to count up to 100 Day and cover a few more standards along the way, I think you'll enjoy this shape train.

The train cars are made up of colorful shapes.  Figure out a pattern (I used a rainbow one plus pink and white) then trace and cut out 100 pieces.  Hang the engine on a hallway wall, with plenty of room to run the cars down the hall to the "Happy 100 Day!" caboose.

I chose a Popsicle stick name from our train tin each day and that child figured out what colored shape they thought would come next.  They wrote the number and the shape name on the car.

The packet includes a counting to 100 worksheet, 2 posters, an empty train car to program with whatever + a 100-Day certificate & bookmark.
