"Try it! You'll like it." Is one of my mantras for teaching. With that in mind, I wanted to give you the option to try these 2 winter-themed number puzzles.

A mini kite theme, is one of the many units I include in our March activities. With that in mind, I designed this packet of 14 Common Core worksheets.  There are full-page patterns, as well as 2-on-a-page templates, plus an "I Spy" game cover, if you want to collate them into a little workbook for your kiddos.

10 pages.

Practice number sense with these quick, easy and fun Seuss-hat worksheets. Start with zero or mix them up and do one each day.  Great for home-school connections (homework), early finishers, or a sub folder too.

Practice a variety of math standards with this quick, easy and fun worksheet.  Teacher can choose a number, give children a choice or have them roll dice to figure out what number they will use to fill out their worksheet.

Review all sorts of standards with this quick, easy and fun Seuss-themed Cat in the Hat game.  Print, laminate and trim the "food" cards.  These are mini cards that include upper and lowercase letters, numbers from 0-120, 11 number word cards,  twelve 2D shape cards, twelve 3D shape cards, 35 contraction cards, 20 at family cards, and 11 color word cards.

Review all sorts of standards with this quick, easy and fun game.  Print, laminate and trim the "food" cards.  These are mini cards that include upper and lowercase letters, numbers from 0-120, 11 number word cards,  twelve 2D shape cards, twelve 3D shape cards, 35 contraction cards, 94 "GR is for Grinch" gr word blend cards, and 11 color word cards.

Practice skip counting by 10s with these quilt block bookmarks.  I've included a blank template, where students write in the numbers, as well as one with the skip counted numbers filled in, in both black line and full color.

Sliders are a quick, easy and fun way to whole group assess a variety of standards.  I've included 5 different Thanksgiving-themed slider patterns, with slider strips for: upper and lowercase letters, numbers to 30, skip counting by 2's, 3's, 5's, & 10's, as well as counting backwards from 10-0 and 20-0, along with a shape slider too.

"Turkey Talk" is a quick, easy and fun way to whole-group assess listening and following directions, numbers, number words, ordinal numbers and colors. This activity will be FREE for an entire year! Fact Family Feather Fun is a visual math craftivity that students will enjoy making, as they practice fact families.  Add a real feather to the turkey's head for that finishing touch.  This activity will be FREE for an entire year!
