This pumpkin-alphabet matching game is inexpensive to make, as they sell clip-on clothespins at The Dollar Store. This FREEBIE is part of my jumbo Alphabet Wheels Activity Packet. For your convenience, I've included a preview.
Print off an upper and lowercase pumpkin using two shades of orange construction paper, add a green rectangle for a stem, laminate and trim. Clip the clothespins to your pumpkin and write uppercase letters on one side in red, and lowercase letters in black, on the other side. Store your clothespins with the pumpkins in a large Ziplock Baggie. Also included: A note home to send with a struggling child, for more one-on-one work, as well as a reminder note if a child fails to return the game, + a pumpkin alphabet anchor chart, so students can self-check their work.
