Writing

13 pages.

This packet includes: a class book where your current students write a page of advice for your next year's class; a mouse "craftivity" where students jot one piece of advice underneath their mouse's head (it flips up); plus a bookmark from you and one for your students to make for an in-coming kiddo.

12 pages.

There are several options for this end of the year writing prompt "craftivity."  Students can simply color the cow, cut it out and glue it to the top of their writing prompt, or you can run off the cow parts on construction paper.  Students trim, glue their cow together, add some pizzazz with crayons and then glue it to the top of their writing prompt.

10 pages.

This is a versatile "craftivity."  Students can choose the "ANTicipating summer fun" writing prompt, the "ANTicipating their new grade", or they can use the blank template for something else.

12 pages.

"Hip Hippo Ray! I'm on my way" is a sweet end of the year activity.  Choose whatever pages you want and have the students complete the writing prompts and then glue their booklet to the hippo.  There's also a pattern for "Hip Hippo Ray!  It's graduation day" appropriate for a preschool or kindergarten graduation. Glue on a photo for that finishing touch.

21 pages.

Use this "craftivity" for the beginning of the school year and have students complete the summer writing prompt, or use it at the end of the year and have students make the "Taco" 'bout a great year ___________ (fill in grade) was excelente." template.

6 pages.

Have students write what they'd like to see and do during summer vacation on the lens-shaped pages. For more pizzazz, run the sunglasses off on scrapbook paper.  Take a photo of each student wearing goofy sunglasses; cut into oval shapes and have them glue theirs to the right lens.

5 pages.

Help build your students' self-esteem, with this sweet end-of-the-year activity.  Students color their cat, glue on the blank template(s) to include a space for X number of students to write a compliment on, and then accordion fold it.  Includes bookmarks.

18 pages.

This packet is a great alternative to the usual end-of-the-year memory book.  Students glue the templates to a file folder and cut on the lines to  create a flip booklet.  An autograph page is included that can be glued to the back.

17 pages.

The packet includes templates that you can use at the beginning of the school year to get to know your students, as well as one to use at the end of the year, plus bookmarks you can give to your kiddos, plus one they can make for your next year's students.

2 pages.

Define what an adjective is and have your students describe themselves at the beginning of the year.  Collect and save 'til the last week of school and have them use adjectives to describe themselves now.  Have they changed?
