Back To School DIY Denin Tote Bag

2 pages.

Need an inexpensive, heavy-duty tote bag for books, supplies and the rest of the "stuff" you lug back and forth to school?  I made this blue jean tote bag for only a $1.  Simply go to GoodWill and find the biggest pair of pants they have.  Garage sales are another great place to look.

Cut off the legs and hem the bottom.  Make a strap from the leg material.  The pockets are perfect for holding your phone, pens, pencils and other supplies; and the side loop is great for a pair of scissors.  This bag is so large that it can easily hold my big books, posters and drawing pad.
