This game is an excellent way to learn about community helpers.

Students or the teacher read 19 clue cards  describing a community helper.  Children guess which community helper they think it is by holding up a community helper "Posicle stick puppet." ( There are more than enough community helper pictures to make a class-set of puppets.) The correct community helper is then written on the clue card.
