Your students will enjoy making and collecting these 6 different animal sliders.

Use them as a fun and friendly way to assess students too.  Simply call out a letter or number.  Students pull the strip'til the correct answer slides into view.  Record incorrect answers on a recording sheet with their name and the date.

Because these animals are great leapers and hoppers, I designed them with Leap Day in mind, however, they fit in nicely with other monthly activities as well. 

There are strips for skip counting by 2's, 3's, 5's and 10's as well as upper and lowercase letter strips and counting by 1's.
