To help reinforce colors and color words, play this "spin to win" cool cat color game.  Students choose a partner and take turns spinning.  Whatever color they land on, they color that sneaker, and then trace and write the matching color word in that color.   The first one to complete their bookmark with all of the colors is the winner.

This packet is a fun way to reinforce colors and color words.  Use the cards for Memory Match and "I Have; Who Has?" games. Students match the color word card to the matching color shoe card.

This is a quick, easy and fun game that you can make for an independent alphabet center, which will help reinforce upper and lowercase letter identification.  This packet will be FREE for an entire year, after which time it will be updated and put in Diane's Dollar Deals in my TpT shop. Here's a fun way to help your students learn how to read number words and match them to the correct numbers. There are 5 ways to play the matching games.  Print, laminate and trim the templates and use them as independent math centers.  This is an interesting game for a Daily 5 activity as well, and can also be sent home with a struggling student for 1-on-1 practice with a parent.

There are a variety of ways you can use this packet.  For a back to school treat bag, run off the "Welcome" puzzle template. Personalize them with your students' names. Cut up each puzzle and put them in Ziplock Baggies.  Choose one of 3 header cards and attach.  You can also give them during your apple studies or as an inexpensive gift for birthdays, Valentine's Day etc. A large apple puzzle, to be used as an independent center activity, is also included, as well as a blank grid, to help younger students easily put their puzzles together.

If you read the adorable book The Kissing Hand, by Aurdrey Penn, you're familiar with Chester an anxious little raccoon.  Since he is such an endearing character for children, I thought I'd incorporate him into some fun hand's-on shape games and activities.
